I’ve said it before, I hate companies collaborating with other companies. Today, I needed to call this call centre for Prometric, these people who I did a test at, to ask them if I could get a transcript. Since the test makers only give it to people who did it in state (Maine). So I call them and then I’m put through the torture of listening to some really horrible English Prison Warden woman talking about their privacy policy. And there was groaning. OH THERE WAS GROANING. So, I waited to get to the thing.

And then I talk to her. She says what I already know. I need to get 25 US dollars from a US Bank written on a US Bank Draft. And I explain to her that I can’t do this since I’m in the US. And she should know, I doubt there’s US Banks in THEIR INTERNATIONAL LOCATIONS. That’s what they pride themselves in, being international. She tells me to email the GED centre in Maine. I’ve already done this. And it does clearly state on their website that I should contact Prometric. I tell her this and then she tells me to go get the money from a US bank. I tell her, “This system is really fucked up, ma’am.”, she goes off on a rant about me swearing and such. When she’s done, she hangs up.

I call back and again I’m put through the torture. I get a man this time though. I now know it’s most likely in India. He tells me the same thing. Jesus Christ. It’s really fucked. I mean it. The sad thing is, I need this before the 5th of July. Or Nem nems ain’t going to Florida.

And this my friends, is why I hate corporations. I seriously hate when they don’t know anything. How about if some guy in Eastern Europe needs this transcript and he can’t get it? What are we to do?

Heh. I like ranting. It makes me want to keep on. But then my thoughts come too fast and I feel like going nuts and change subjects every second.

Well, it’s now less than 5 days until I head off to Paramore. I can’t wait.
