And it’s only because you’re feeling alone…

30 01 2008

Well, here it is. The last post before the trip to Inglaterra.

So lets get right into it. I’m excited again. Shaking. And all that jazz.

So the business in this post would be the Reviews, Comic, and The Music?

Ok. Right into it. I’m stalling aren’t I?

Crushcrushcrush Reviews Moving Pictures

Dexter
6/10. I watched the whole first season, it was massively hyped up and was utterly mediocre. The plot was incredibly superficial. I predicted the ending within the first 15 minutes of every show. As for the actors? I think they did an excellent jobs given that the script could’ve been written by me on a drinking binge. So give it a watch if you want to feel smart.

Ghost Hunters
9/10. Now normal paranormal shows try and prove paranormal activity. But these guys here actually bring in tons of scientific and technical aspects to disprove the activity. Though some of them are unexplainable. I’ve been a long time fan of this show, so I might be a bit biased. Thats why I just give you guidelines. But this is seriously a nice watch.

I promised you two reviews and two reviews I gave you. I’ll probably review the concert and we’ll probably watch a movie or two in London. So I’ll have more reviews to give you Monday.

Now for the business of the Fornemixsake comics. Its started to become a little series. Chronicling the story of Nemi and Danielle. I’ll probably introduce them in a later comic. So looks like you’ll be getting one or two comics a week.

Hiatus

Since our hero has been sidetracked by explosions and bulldozers, you won’t be seeing Nemi until Monday.

So guys. I’ll be seeing you.

The Emote is freakin’ out over what shoes to wear. Even great ones have problems…

I can’t force these eyes to see the end…

29 01 2008

One day left.
Just one day.

Can’t you tell I’m excited? I am so excited. Really am. I’m shaking.

But now on to serious business.I have a serious review tomorrow. I promise. It’ll be Dexter and Ghost Hunters.
Yeah. I’m watching the whole thing. Just for you guys and my statements.

Its a short post today. So all I’ll share is a comic and the daily music.

Comic.

Yeah a little bit of pervert humor.

You can’t down it with your eyes.

27 01 2008

Well the time has come for another post.
And honestly, the time draws closer for the looming Paramore concert.
So maybe I’d share the details with you. We’ll be leaving Stavanger on Wednesday and arriving at Gatwick the same day. Of course, we will…
Then there’s fun to be had on Thursday and Friday and half of Saturday. Then on Saturday we will be watching Paramore…Woohoo!
Then on Sunday evening we’ll be back in Norway. So it all seems kind of awesome.

So if you’d like to hang out with us. Send me a mail. Rapists, Molesters, Muggers, Kidnappers and Thieves need not apply.

There isn’t much to this post really. Just would like to tell you that this is the last day to vote for Kina.

Yet. I am still keeping up with the blog comics. So here is issue #1 in Fornemixsake.

And for the…

I’d like to share this one little part of “Across The Universe.” I just love this little song that they sing towards the end.

The Emote is packing.

It takes acquired minds, to taste, to taste, to taste this wine.

26 01 2008

And we’re getting into the hang of blogging again!
WordPress is really better than Blogger in many respects.

So now it’s time for the reviews I promised you…

Crushcrushcrush TV/Movie Reviews.

CSI : NY
9/10. Now I’m a hardcore fan of the original CSI. But this has a different ring to it. More of a big city feel. Las Vegas seems like more about gambling debts. This has some people in it that you can relate to. So I’d suggest if this is on. Go ahead and watch it, its a good hour.

Bridget Jones’s Diary
8/10. I’m also a hardcore fan of romantic comedies. And this one does not disappoint. It has its funny moments and it has its tear-inspiring romantic moments. Renee Zellweger portrays Bridget just as I saw her in the book. Its a great watch with your significant other or if you’re heartbroken.

Casino Royale
9/10. I don’t understand it. How can they come out with equally good James Bond movies year after year? This one is not one of the greatest but it truly deserves to be labeled up there amongst Goldeneye, Goldfinger, and From Russia With Love. Daniel Craig fits into the role perfectly and can’t wait to see him in more of the films.

Mr. Untouchable
7/10. Well its a documentary about the Heroin times in Harlem. More directly one of the Drug Lords. Its incredibly informative and does have some very interesting interviews with very interesting people. So give it a watch if you’re into finding more about this.

We Own The Night
7/10. Well, I went into it with no real knowledge of the movie. So I thought it would be a dance flick. But it made a pleasant transaction from the previous flick. Mr. Untouchable. Since this one is about an underground drug ring and two brothers. I’d recommend it, but honestly, I didn’t enjoy it. So I’d leave it to you to decide.

There. I posted them. There’ll be more all the way up until I travel to England.
As for the little comic front. I have a preview for the upcoming serious comic I’m making. Now, it won’t be long but, I am going to spend time on this little project. Here’s a little looksie.

25 01 2008

Well, its time to inaugurate this little new/old blog of mine. I moved to wordpress because of some rascals named Mike and Luis.
So lets get into business. Lately I’ve been making a couple of really horrible comics, honestly, they were terrible.

Right now there’s a little series in production. I just have to get the little car posing settled down. I think its around a three part short strip. Its about my journeys in a car. Its quite funny in my mind. I also have an intellectual/funny comic in the works. I’ve been issued a challenge to make a comic about Kafka. Its time to get to writing then.

And here’s some comics I’ve made recently during the boredom days.

The R2D2 Interview

No More Coffee For Nemi

As for the Movie Reviews. Give me more time. I haven’t really been in the mood to watch them yet. I’ve done two out of three. Still have to finish the last one. Along with that little feature, I think its about time that I start to review TV Shows. Since thats what I mainly watch these days, it will also give me a chance to see new shows I have never seen before.

Somehow, I think my blog is turning into a rendition of The Totally Rad Show, but don’t tell anyone…

Now…

24 01 2008

Well. It is now official. If you haven’t talked to me, read msn nickname or gone on my Facebook. It seems I’m going to London on Wednesday to Sunday. As if thats not all, I get to go see Paramore! *Insert voices of joy here*

And, since it is roughly a week until such a momentous occasion, I would inform you what the blog will provide.

-Day by day pictures of the events.

Yes. Thats it. I’m sorry. For the awesome building up of it. But that is all it will do.

Otherwise, the plans in London with Freddie are mostly to look for the Top Gear members. And I’d like to see the new Wembley. But I doubt that will happen. So I expect randomness. Wandering around the massive city of London with our Tube Passes.

For the “What’s been happening in my life” part. Well, I’d rather not. Some of the things kind of are pretty deep in me right now. So maybe lets call that another Emo post down the line, okay?

On another note, I am running out of Paramore lyrics for my title. So now it looks like I’ll be quoting random things. Just for the integrity of the blog.

CrushCrushCrush Movie Reviews

The Jammed
7/10. Now I’m usually a big fan of these from transcript movies. But this seemed to standard. The direction and the cinematography were quite excellent though. With innovative angles and great performances. But the bad plot overpowered the excellence within.

Shrek The Third
9/10. I actually loved this movie. It was filled with adult jokes. It didn’t feel like one of those children movies at all. I was skeptical at first but it seems it was a pretty good movie. Give it a look, it didn’t disappoint.

Feast of Love
10/10. Absolutely my kind of movie. Filled with Morgan Freeman and a lot of deep philosophical moments. I would recommend this to everyone who needs a little pick me up in a movie.

And there’s more movie reviews tomorrow. I’m going for a couple of oldies. Some that I haven’t reviewed but will re-watch them for that purpose.

Crushcrushcrush “Taste of Music” clip of the post.

She’s back. Kina Grannis has finally got her music video made and is in the top three finalists to get a record deal. I’m voting every day just to see her up there.

The emote is voting for Kina too!

Sing us a song and we’ll sing back to you…

22 01 2008

Well, I’m posting again.
I haven’t been watching any movies lately. Seeing that there’s no real good ones out yet. But Prison Break has made a stunning return to my weekly view list. It looks like its picking up again after a slightly disappointing start to the season. Lost is also coming back soon. Which in my mind is only second in the excite-o-meter.

Yes. Next Wednesday, Fredrik and I will be invading England. To see, you guessed it, Paramore. Now he is going to drink himself silly before the concert so he forgets it. But I won’t be. I seriously can’t wait. I’m just going to sit here and shiver in anticipation.

I also feel a lack of images in this little blog. Seeing that we’re entering the second half of the posting century. Amazing, innit? And spell check says “Innit” is not a word. Well, spell check has never been to England has it?

So without further ado. Here are some pictures taken in the last week.

Now, I have mentioned the details below of why this clip is in the main part of the post. This little clip of Machinima, a movie made in video games, is quite spectacular. So give it a looksie. I was quite impressed by it.

And as always, we have the beautiful feature called…

CrushCrushCrush “Taste of Music” Clip of the day.

I’ve decided to give it a different name, since I have been just featuring music lately. Although, there has been an occasional short little film. But now, those things will be discussed in the main post.

The Emote thinks he’ll go to Boston and wonders if anyone watches the clips Chris posts..

I was supposed to get over you by now.

19 01 2008

Look.
This is going to be one of these emo blog posts, so if you don’t feel like reading one of those. Look away.

As of right now. I feel like a pile of shit. Its the basics. I feel shitty. I guess it comes with the ending of a relationship. I mean, I lived for that relationship. I guess it was a huge part of me. ‘Cause right now, I feel like a big part of Chris is missing.
The days are passing by without emotion. I mean, I have been happy and laughing. But nothing compared to being that everyday. Nothing does. Being that there is an ocean between the two parties now; is another factor that doesn’t really help.

Last time I broke up with someone, I didn’t really have the time to feel all of this. Maybe because it was three weeks, not a year. And it didn’t include living together or traveling together.

I’ve said it to myself many times to move on. But still, I can’t. I miss it. Its not the sex or any childish thing. I guess what I’m really trying to say is, I loved her. Thats the truth, and I guess, I never really stopped doing that.

So now, I’m sat here in the dark. Feeling sorry for myself. Listening to music that I shouldn’t really listen to right now. But Paramore helps.

“And when we get home, I know we won’t be home at all
This place we live, it is not where we belong
And I miss who we were in the town we could call our own
Going back to get away after everything has changed

Could you remind me of a time when we were so alive
Do you remember that? Do you remember that?
Could you help me push aside all that I have left behind?
Do you remember that? Do you remember that?”

Well, I’ll stop including you in my self pitying acts.

The emote is with Chris.

They scribbled out the truth with their lies.

19 01 2008

Yeah. I can’t really think of things to write in the blog.
I can write normally now though. Like stories and randomness. So I’m starting to get that back.

The scary thing is, I’ve been writing on myself. Such as this.

Now I think if I get a tattoo. I want those lyrics scribbled on me.
Just because I like them so much.

Otherwise, there hasn’t been many real thought provoking moments in recent days. Except that when you are on a trip, with some sort of view, the music that you are listening to makes a big difference. The bus ride takes a different view. As I changed between chill techno to some Paramore. The bus ride went from very peaceful to very sad. I mean I’m one of those people who looks at people on buses. I wonder where they go and analyze them. So its one of those things. I feel a song is part of a movie. Yes, I see many moments in my life as great film moments.

I am weird. I’ll say that.

Emote is flock and so should you.

Been awake for a while now, you got me feeling like a child now…

16 01 2008

See, I told you. Blogging is random. I might go on a two day posting spree. Where I might discuss the exact same thing. But today, I only have the standard installments of the blog.

crushcrushcrush Movie Reviews

Rocket Science
8/10. This movie was a complete unknown to me. But as those movies turn out to be, it was absolutely excellent. It had a fairly original story behind it. I mean, who ever heard of a kid with a speech impediment join the debate team?

Juno
10/10. Now, I’ve been waiting for ages for this movie to come out and the long wait did not disappoint me at all. It has all the pieces to make a great movie for me. Great dialog, excellent acting, and a witty story behind it. So right now, you must go and watch it. Now.

The Hunting Party
9/10. Quite good actually. It seems everyone centers around the wars, yet no one take the journalistic point of view. This film shows that side, in all its hunger and adrenaline filled joy.

Sydney White
8/10. One of those standard teen movies. A bit of a new one though. I felt it had some communist underlyings but thats just me looking too deeply into the film. Amanda Bynes gives one of her best performances to date and looks to have settled into the teen movie role.

Across the Universe
10/10. Well, the musical is back. This is one epic movie. The Beatles combined with the Vietnam War is, well, music to my ears. The acting leaves some to be desired but the singing and the sheer truthfulness of the film overpowers all. This is really suggested watching, coming from a guy who’s seen it twice.

I know what you’re thinking. Has he gone soft? Two tens in one post? Well, no, I haven’t actually. This holiday season films have had to be good. I mean in the void that Harry Potter and James Bond usually fill during the season, something good has to step up onto the plate. And I believe many of them have. So many that I infact have to split the movie post into two.

Yes, I mean it, three days of posting. Oh how fun you readers will have it. I might even divulge into some personal issues, which by all means is a drama to all.

And just to piss Freddie off. The same exact song, but sang by Kina Grannis.
