A post to fill up the void left behind by the former post. Sounds official but its not. I just wanted to post. I felt like the post left an emotional hole behind in this blog.
I’ve watched a couple of great flicks lately. 28 Weeks Later and Liar Liar. (again) They were pretty great to be honest. Both are complete opposites of each other but nevertheless the were fairly enjoyable.
Right now, I’m in the middle of watching final destination 3. I don’t really know the concept of it right now but still, I need to watch bad movies to know the good ones.
Otherwise, I don’t have much to post.

I heard the sound on the final episode of season 6 of Scrubs. I nust say, I was really touched by this song. It took me a while to find the song to now share with you 10 viewers.
I felt like posting without a plan. Yes thats right. I usually have plan for my blogs. I write what I thought of during the day. Today I haven’t really thought of anything. So I wondered what the frick I would write about.
So maybe I’m as useless as useless comes. Hey, its true. I used to think of myself as a rebel, honestly. I used to think I was an outcast. Now I can honestly say something. I do not think I’m an outcast anymore. Just not listened to. Hey, I bet if people listened to me they’d know I was alright.
I provide the clues for them but it comes down to how curious they are. I mean, my family knows I alright. But I don’t think they know me. They know me by my grades. They don’t know Chris. I feel like I’m NemiX honestly. More people know me by NemiX than Chris. Isn’t that kind of sad? I remember the saying that I loved once. “I may be ugly but they sure love to stare.” Heh. Those times. Those times are still here. For the last years I’ve been in the same storyline. There are new stars but still in the same rut. The circle with one way streets leading into it. But now, there is a intersection being built. It will happen. I wonder what it would be without me. Where is the Ghost of Christmas now? Looks like I’m sounding Emo. But I don’t have some fake excuse like my parents won’t let me listen to rock or get me earrings.
I’ve had most of things I wanted after the age of 10. But when it comes to something that I really want, more than anything. They won’t give it to me. They can take back everything. I just want what I really want. I want to live without structures, without prejudices. Actually, I remember what I was supposed to be writing about. Ambitions. Well there’s my ambition. I’ll put it in straight words for you.
I want to live. I want to be with the person whom I love. I want to give her a good life. I put everyone else’s needs before mine. Thats me. I want to be that person.
I have ambitions. I work towards them. I have no real work ambitions. Honestly. I mean it would be great with film. I love doing it. But I’d be working with anything else.
I’m going to be making a stand sooner rather than later. Its what I want. Now if certain people aren’t willing to give me what I really want. Instead they would rather do what they want from me. Fuck it. I have determination for the right causes. I will prove that.
Looks like I can write a blog without a plan. I’ll end up writing more like this probably.
I love you. I know you’re reading. I do. I mean it. I love you with as much intensity as the sun beats down upon us. The day that we reunited will remain my muse until it happens. I love you, Gigi.

I just won $200 in a Texas Hold ‘em tournament online. The final hand was the best hand I’ve ever had. Royal Straight Flush. It was one of those moments where your body sinks. All-in and heart thumping. The final card. And you cheer!
Anyhoo. I’m going to a couple of interviews on Monday. I hope someone will hire me sooner or later. I’m writing two things at this moment. A little thing for Gigi about ambition and a movie review for Just My Luck. I enjoyed the movie. I actually enjoy writing these things. Right now this is the list of movie I’m going to review.

I must admit to something, if you live on Madlasandnes and around quarter to midnight someone was singing in a horrible singing voice. It was me. I walked home from Freddie’s singing Paramore as loud as I could.
I can get it out in the open. I adore Paramore. I’m not Freddie. We crossed streams, thats it.
Otherwise, I have no real thing going on right now. I have this terrible pain in my stomach though. I know what I want to say. J’ai hambre. I want a good sandwich or a good hotdog. I think I’ll need it for tomorrow.
Now in other news. I have a plan. I will write reviews for every movie I watch. So now I’ll start.
Man of the Year
“Man of the Year” tells the story of Tom Dobbs (Robin Williams) a political comedian (like Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert) who has his own television show. On his show he talks about all sorts of things but his main focus are political issues which he is very opinionated about. One day on his show, a fan from the audience raises the idea that Dobbs should run for President of the United States. After that episode aired, millions flocked to the web to create various petitions and voice their opinions on why Dobbs would make a great candidate for the President for the United States. A few weeks later, Dobbs decides to run for President and low and behold wins the election. Everything seems to be going as planned until a woman by the name of Eleanor Green (Laura Linney) shows up and starts some controversy regarding his position. A funny yet serious political thriller ensues…
I really liked “Man of the Year” even though I was expecting to see a comedy instead of a serious film. One of the many things I will give this film credit for is that the film does a decent job switching between comedy and drama even though at first it seems a little awkward. I really think that after you figure this out that the movie is going to be more of a political thriller than a comedy you get comfortable with it. Some may not because they are lead to believe that they are seeing a comedy and don’t understand what this film is trying to say in the end but for those people they can blame the marketers for not advertising this film right.
“Man of the Year” talks about a lot of things and seems to have a very strong opinion. As Tom Dobbs speaks he is saying things that need to be said and isn’t about candy coating them. I also think the whole political subplot, while most critics say hurt the film probably again because of the misleading marketing, was very good. The idea of computerize voting has been tossed around the last few years and with all the problems computers have the issue being addressed in this film could surely be realistic. Also the control big businesses have over voting also gets addressed.
As far as acting goes, I think everyone involved did a good job. Robin Williams had a chance to be funny yet serious at the same time by playing Tom Dobbs. Some say that Williams has overstayed his welcome as a comedian but I personally still think he is funny and he’s a good serious actor as well. This is probably one of the few occasions though that we get to see him go back and forth from serious to funny and I think it works well. Also it’s nice to see Lewis Black co-star in a decent film. Again I like Black when he appears on “The Daily Show” and does stand up however most of the films he has been in were awful. This was a good movie for him because I think his political views fit in with the story that director Barry Levinson was trying to convey. Laura Linney is a fine addition to the cast and proves once again that she is a very good actress and lastly Christopher Walken and Jeff Goldblum both do a very good job as always with this roles handed to them.
In the end, don’t go into this film expecting to see the movie that the commercials are selling you. It does have laughs but at the same time it plays off more as a political drama. It’s not as stupid or silly as the marketing campaign leads you to believe. I really liked the fact that this film that this film wasn’t a typical Hollywood film. It tried to be a comedy and a serious drama at the same time and worked at least for me. I like the fact that the film didn’t really tone down any of the issues it addressed nor did it have a typical Hollywood ending. I was trying to call the ending from the get go but surprisingly it didn’t end the way I thought which made me happy. It’s a movie that will make you laugh but then a few minutes later allow you to think and wonder what’s going to happen next. I think its a good movie that will be hurt by its bad marketing.
I’ve had diarrhea all day. Seems like I have a parasite. It gives me the shits all day. I’ve finished Prison Break season 2. I hated how it finished. Scofield deserves to be free. Meh. I guess its another show under my belt.
Otherwise I have new movies to recommend. 3 really tickled my fancy.
Surf’s Up – 8/10. I just loved the reality type animation of it. Coupled with the talented voice acting. It just made my night.
Idiocracy -7/10. I had no idea what the premise went out on. But it turned out to be a pretty decent piece of cinematography. Better than most current flicks.
License to Wed – 9/10. Any thing with Robin Williams and the cast of The Office is a great movie. John Krasinski really delivers in this starring role.
Anyhoo short post. I’m out of smokes though. Damn.

Today’s post. I actually wrote some of it yesterday. Mhm. I’m nuts. I finally got Football Manager 2008 and I’ve been playing it all day. I’ve also gone through a whole season of Two and a half men. Saturdays, eh? The day of doing nothing.
I wonder how I can be confused for Hayley Williams. I know I have a picture of her on the top of the page. I’m just expressing a mixture of Japan and my favorite band, which coincidentally Hayley forwards. Meh. The only contact I have with them is doing some graphics for www.paramore.org. Shameless plug, je sais.

I feel like writing but it turns out to be one of those “Stuck on a desert island” stories but with friends in them. I think I’ll stick to writing songs and such.
So I’m sticking to writing a song. I’m going to write a song in Spanish. Expect it tomorrow.

There are quite a few places I want to travel in this world. Most of them are pretty off. Japan, Australia, New Zealand… See they’re really far off. The biggest so far must be Japan. Now usually I’m not into Politics. But this interests me, if you don’t know Stephen Colbert, check him out. He says he’ll run as a democrat and a republican.
He’s a “Presidential Considerer”. I think this is a great public relations stunt and whoever thought of this should be heading an ad firm. I mean, I’d vote for him actually. If he only used his tv persona as a president. Hell, it’d be cooler than Bush’s fuckups. I’ll inform you guys as it goes.

Well, I still haven’t got any sleep. I’ve slept 5/48 hours today and yesterday. Family Guy is now screening on my pc. I did nothing today, just hung out with two school skipping twins. I’m amazed that I’m held out this long without Angie. But that still doesn’t diminish the feeling I have. I love her and thats it.
Now, on to something you care about. I really want to see Prison Break Season 2. I’m really in the mood for it. But looks like be a day before I can watch it.
